I had music in this level, but FRAPS didn't pick it up. Just play the below clip while watching the video.

FINAL PROJECT
Well, it's as done as it gets. I recorded this from on the school's computers, since they run faster, but FRAPS still didn't pick up the audio. Also, it wasn't the paid version, so I had to stitch together 30-second clips. Probably could've edited the video better if I hadn't done it at the last minute.

ASSIGNMENT 12: Bring on the Bots!
Yeah, I could've made these guys shoot, but this was just too wacky to get shot in the middle of.

ASSIGNMENT 11 Interactive Lights, Particles & Moving Around Objects
So I was looking in the Content Browser, and I found there were already prefabricated objects like the ones I modeled for my level. Namely, crates and stalls. Maybe I should use those instead and save myself some work.
Incidentally, am I supposed to be making models of my buildings? 'Cause these are all BSPs.
Anyway, here's the video, showing off everything I learned this week.
Also, my dome is spazzing out for some reason. After I had done all my camera work last week, I discovered the Subtract BSP was oddly askew. I tried fixing it, but it was still behaving oddly. I'm not sure what to do about that beyond deleting it and putting it a new one.

ASSIGNMENT 10 Cameras, Ladders & My Game Map Diagrams
GoldenEye intros are the best intros.
The teleporters in this video is only temporary. I can't change the video format, so I need to keep it as short as possible. This twenty-five-second video took ten minutes to upload. Also, the oasis it jumps to is clear across the level, so it would've been really tacky to have you guys wait while I walk all the way there. I put my auto-rotating objects there, so it was kind necessary. Also, I used a ladder volume to make it possible to climb into the truck.
Level diagram forthcoming. Just be warned that I don't have graph paper.

ASSIGNMENT 09 Damage, Health, Water & Sound
Okay, no-go on the sound. I'm not sure why, but lately UDK hasn't been making sounds on my laptop when I use it. May have something to do with FRAPS, because my brother has to use my laptop for UDK and he says he's getting sound just fine.
Instead of the level I'm working on, this is the "experimental level" I use to mess around with new features before using them in my level. I don't know where you expect me to put a body of water in a Moroccan bazaar, but I suppose it's more my fault for having such an inflexible setting.

ASSIGNMENT 07: Custom Models In Action, Jump Pads & Teleporters
Is it really necessary to have to do models in this class? I mean, it's Level Design, not 3D Modeling. It's good to know and all, but I was hoping to be able to focus more on, you know, designing levels.
Aw, well.
I'll have to make some ramps in order to get into these trucks. I've been in these, but the collision barriers in there don't match the walls and limit where you can go. If I can't alter those, I'll have to fill them with crates or something.
Hey, are those...
...Jump Pads?
Here's a table. If you can't tell, it's in the "secret room" I made.
...And a teleporter I remodeled into a vase. I'll have to change the pivot point of the vase in Maya to get it right. But now that I can change the teleporters, it shouldn't be too hard to change the Jump Pads into awnings.
Oh, and here's where the portal comes out.
I couldn't get it work when the other portal was on the table. Once I figure out how to fix that, I'll have a one-way portal. My real intention is to have the portal behind one of the buildings, in case you get outside the play area and get stuck.
Oh, and here's the video.

ASSIGNMENT 06: 6 CUSTOM MODELS FOR MY UDK LEVEL
Made some stuff to stick in my level. Let's take a look at them, as well as the images I used for reference.
Okay, I may not have actually looked at reference images while making some of these...
While this could make for an excellent standalone stall, that enclosure is actually supposed to be the recess into the wall the stall is in front/part of.
Indoor version, sans recess.
I'm not entirely convinced this image is of an actual crate (might be a miniature for a tabletop game or something), so I took a couple liberties.
Also, I figured I could skip the cross-bar and have that be on the texture.
These trucks totally look the same, right?
Bonus! The backside of the truck I made.

I don't actually have a reference image for this table. I just used the table in my apartment, and I'm too lazy to take a picture of it.
Totally the image I used to create this vase that isn't the same one I made in class from a completely different reference image that I didn't copy when I had the chance.
